Hi, I'm Valeria
I'm Ukrainian, based in Tampa, and I teach yoga, movement and practices that help us reconnect with the body.
I came to yoga for the movement and stayed for what happened beyond it — better awareness, more space between stimulus and reaction, and a different relationship with my own body.
Today my classes bring together movement, breath, stillness and sound. Some days we build strength. Some days we slow everything down. The practice changes because people do.
I teach in English and Ukrainian, online and in person in Tampa.

Questions people ask
I've never done yoga. Is that a problem?
No. About half the people who write to me have never been to a class. Tell me when you book and I'll keep an eye on you — you won't be the only one looking around to see what everyone else is doing.
I'm not flexible at all.
That's what practice is for. Flexibility is a result, not a requirement. If you can't reach your toes we use a block, and the pose does the same job.
What do I need for a class on Zoom?
A mat, a wall, and space to lie down with your arms out. A laptop propped up works better than a phone, but a phone is fine. Turn your camera on if you can — I can't correct what I can't see.
Which language are classes in?
Both. Private sessions are in whichever you prefer. Group classes are listed with their language on the schedule, and in the park I usually drift between the two.
What if I need to cancel?
Twelve hours' notice and there's no charge — just message me. Less than that and I'd ask you to pay, unless something genuinely went wrong, in which case, obviously, don't worry about it.
I have an injury / I'm pregnant.
Write to me before you book and tell me what's going on. Most things we can work around, some things I'll send you elsewhere for, and I'd rather say that up front than halfway through a class.
